Rockville's one of those suburbs where you pull up to a fibro cottage on West Street and you already know what you're walking into before you've even opened the ute door. The houses are solid old things — built in the 50s and 60s when post-war Toowoomba was expanding fast — but the electrical systems inside them haven't always kept pace. You're often looking at wiring that's the same age as the house, with the original ceramic fuse board still sitting there on the wall doing its thing.
